09:30 – 11:30 | The Flåm Railway & Train to Voss
Your adventure begins at the Flåm railway station, located right next to the cruise pier and very easy to find. You will receive your pre-booked tickets and detailed instructions beforehand.
Board the world-famous Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana), which climbs from sea level to 867 meters (2,844 feet) in just one hour. The train passes through deep valleys and steep mountains, making a short photo stop at the powerful Kjosfossen waterfall. At Myrdal station, you will easily switch to the connection train towards Voss, arriving at approximately 11:30 AM. (Note: You will travel unaccompanied by the guide on the trains).
11:30 – 14:30 | Private Guided Drive: Voss to Gudvangen
At Voss station, your personal Jandis driver-guide will be waiting for you with a premium Mercedes minivan or Tesla.
From Voss, we drive through spectacular scenery to the majestic Tvindefossen waterfall. Next, we head up to the historic Stalheim Hotel to enjoy the legendary panoramic views over the Nærøydalen valley. We then descend into Gudvangen, an old Viking settlement. Here, you will have time for lunch, a stroll along the fjord, and the choice between exploring the local Viking Village or taking a short drive to the picturesque village of Bakka.
14:30 – 16:30 | Premium Nærøyfjord Cruise back to Flåm
Your guide will escort you directly to the pier in Gudvangen. At 2:30 PM, you will board a modern, fully electric catamaran for a 2-hour cruise back to Flåm.
This silent boat offers massive outdoor decks and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the Nærøyfjord—the narrowest and most dramatic branch of the Sognefjord, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will arrive back at the Flåm pier at 4:30 PM, right next to your cruise ship.
